San Francisco-based Sales Productivity Solution Adds Veteran Software Executive

ModuleQ, the sales productivity solution designed for the way sales professionals really work, announced today that veteran software executive John Dillon has joined the company's Advisory Board. Dillon has a long and distinguished career as CEO of such leading enterprise software companies as, Engine Yard, and Hyperion Solutions. "John's deep expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Software-as-a-Service is highly relevant to ModuleQ's first product, a personal pipeline management app for sales professionals," said company founder David Brunner.

"Once a decade, a fundamental shift of technology architecture creates a new wave of category leaders," Dillon said. "The recent explosion of handheld devices in the enterprise has created an opportunity for ModuleQ to turn the enterprise software value proposition on its head by improving the productivity of individual workers. I think ModuleQ's decision to focus initially on the sales professional is brilliant, and I look forward to helping the company achieve its vision."

Allen Miner, ModuleQ's Chairman, said, "Having worked with John at Oracle and again at Japan, I'm very excited to have him as an advisor to ModuleQ. John has penetrating strategic insight, deep wisdom acquired from growing multiple successful software sales organizations, and an unshakeable commitment to putting customers first. His contribution to ModuleQ will be invaluable."
