All data is encrypted with AES256 encryption at rest and in transit, and keys are stored securely in the Azure Key Vault within your tenant

The ingress into the system is protected by an Application Gateway with a Web Application Firewall (WAF)

Secure Azure Deployment

Architecture

Scalable Virtual Machine (VM) cluster deployed into a dedicated subscription within your Microsoft Azure tenant.

Installation Ease

Installation takes 4-8 hours of work by your personnel. Azure resources are deployed into the subscription you specify by an automated installation script. Some manual steps are required to configure network settings and integration into M365 and Microsoft Teams.

Ingress/Egress

ModuleQ receives information through the Microsoft Teams bot interactions via the Teams API as the only ingress into the system. ModuleQ will periodically pull content and knowledge information through an HTTPS connection to the ModuleQ central tenant.

Azure Infrastructure

ModuleQ runs as a set of microservices deployed on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) with a MongoDB database for storage and Azure AI Search indices for indexed knowledge information.

Controlled Provisioning

Unprompted AI is provisioned via the Microsoft Teams Admin Console. Users with Teams Administrator privileges can specify the users and/or groups for whom the app is available, and for whom the app is pre-loaded and pinned to the Teams sidebar.

Health Monitoring

Basic system usage and health monitoring is available natively. More comprehensive monitoring and executive reporting can be configured to send an auditable feed of anonymized monitoring data to ModuleQ’s or directly to a customer.

Minimal Maintenance

Unprompted AI requires no maintenance other than periodic upgrades, which typically require approximately 2 days of labor per year, in the form of two 2-hour sessions per quarter.
